this has to be done with a scanner,to re-set the light on it.other wise it will stay on,,you can try removing the battery cable sometimes this works,but most of the time with these cars you have to have it cleared off,auto zone can do it free for you,,and that will make it go off,,good luck hope this help,s.

If you changed pads and the light is still on, you didn't push the cylinders in far enough to reach the reset point. I'd suggest you take it to the dealer, and have him show you how it's done properly so you will know next time.
They really should be pushed all the way in when changing pads anyway, so they can properly adjust.

I don't know - but whenever I have a brake light on that I can't get off, I check the brake fluid.
