Car Makes - January 2007

My husband and I just got this car in July and have noticed something strange about it. Whenever we go out and start it after we have cleaned the snow off of it the rear hatch open light comes on. Does anyone on here have an Aztec and does this happen to you? Is this something that is normal for this vehicle or should we have it looked at? I would appreciate your help on this strange happening.

We recently purchased a brand new Jetta TDI and starting about a month after the purchase, the bakes squeal. It's been in about 4 times already having them replaced or reassembled. We are curious if it might be something to do with the cold outside or a manufacture problem. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on what it can be?

How can I tell it's size by measuring it. I no it's not a small bock and I no it's not a 351m. I took out a small bock and put in the big bock but I cannot get a starter to fit right and work right the fly wheel is ok. The 351m starter seem to small.

Im trying to locate a door latch for the front passenger side of my car.. the dealer is asking for well over a hundred, and Ive seen the same part for the same year online (just it was for the rear) for less than $20. Ive tried asking sellers on ebay if they would have it, to no luck, but outside of ebay how else do I search for this part?
(and yes its the latch thats broken, not the hinge)

I have had numerous electrical problems with this truck. Mechanically, it's solid. Electronics are another story. I probably will not buy another GMC as this was my first experience and it hasn't been positive.

My latest is the instrument cluster just quitting. I've read of cold weather being a possible cause. I'm not too sure about that, but have no other theories. Checked fuses, all good.

Have you had problems with a GMC 2500HD? I'm especially interested in tales of woe with 2003's, but any and all info is welcome.
