hi there. i am a sales manager for a Honda dealership and unfortunately Honda themselves does not sell a remote starter for their cars. however many aftermarket companies to make them and it is very common for them to be installed on Honda's through them. try with your local car alarm companies. one of the better ones we have found is a alarm company named viper. its a great alarm system with many good features such as a remote start for your vehicle. hope this all helps. also if your vehicle is a manual transmission make sure that when you use the remote start that the car is always left in neutral and not in first gear. if it is in first gear its a sure way to make your vehicle jolt a few feet ahead of where u parked and that would not be good for anything or any one that was in front of your car at the time!!

Yes Honda sells this I'm sure, but in case they don't, you can get it through an aftermarket supplier. If Honda can't get one, try typing in "vehicle remote starter" into the search bar on yahoo, and you should get several companies that manufacture them.
Glad to help you, Good Luck!!!

None of the companies do. You buy remote starters from Websites and Autoparts stores like Autozone and Pep Boys.
They cost about $150 for an automatic car and $200-300 for a manual car.

yes the Honda prelude is a fantastic car but its past its use by date. but Honda and Toyota 95 onwards are great starter cars. anything below 1995 and it will cost heaps to repair and is over due for a major refit of all its running gear let alone engine timing belts which need replacing every 100 000kms if its only had one belt change its a lemon.preludes stopped production in 92.

YES! For both Automatic and Manual. Matter of fact, I have one for my 93 Honda Civic SI. And to correct someone earlier...The car WON"T set to remote start if you DO NOT set the e-brake and the gear in neutral. Anything other than that is a faulty system. Thank you.
