My jeep grand cherokee zj 96 limited needs a change of rear gear ring and pinion set, and I want to know what is a better gear ratio to use. I use the jeep 80% on pavement and 20 percent off-road (gravelly and muddy) sometimes with towing load.

this is a high speed glider launch winch. Drive is actually 1st 2nd and 3rd auto shifting, when it gets to 3rd we want it to stay there till the launch is complete, at present it is changing down and breaking the cable as the speed has to reduce higher up the launch, when we still need a strong pull.

I drove my car to work today and it ran fine, when I got out of work my car didn't want to start, finally it started, then it died. Took a little longer and then it stalled again, but this time it wouldn't restart. I had someone jumpstart it and still no luck, then we tried push starting it, still no luck. Could someone tell me what the problem might be? Other then it is a Ford... Lately the weather has been below freezing and I was thinking that I might have water in my gas, any ideas?

My friend's truck has this...it's basically one flowmaster with two outlets...and they run an exhaust pipe to each side of the vehicle, so it looks and sounds like dual exhaust, but it's really just one flowmaster with one pipe going in, two coming out. What is this called exactly? i called our local muffler shop and the guy sounded confused...he said something about another Y-pipe...is there a name for this?

Have a mint 1981 Mercedes G wagen with 5 cyl turbo diesel. Does anyone know of a way to boost the HP and Torque of this particular engine. Are there any aftermarket turbos? Propane injection? Same engine was also used in diesel sedans of that era.
