Not exactly sure, but I do know this: If you buy a chip (from a reputable company like Spoon Racing), it will add horses while overriding the speed sensor. Chips are under $50.

at the back top of the gearbox at then end of the speed cable or at the 4 wire sensor at the same place on gebox
some are on the speedo cable about 300mm up the speedo cable

its in the gage cluster or a box behind the cluster cali,can,US have them in diff.spots in or out of the cluster
