Have a mint 1981 Mercedes G wagen with 5 cyl turbo diesel. Does anyone know of a way to boost the HP and Torque of this particular engine. Are there any aftermarket turbos? Propane injection? Same engine was also used in diesel sedans of that era.

If you really want to do something, pull a turbo diesel out of an 81-85 300D. Installation shouldn't be too difficult.

I really doubt anything you do would be worth the trouble and expense. These are low rpm engines designed for low end torque. You might be able to have the turbo itself rebuilt to give you more boost, but then you are running more risks running higher boost.
