If you want to turbo your Sentra with an SR20DET, as stated before, you need a transverse SR. The Nissan Pulsar GTi-R was one of the few cars in Japan that used the transvers SR-turbo engine. They were also AWD.

Check www.nicoclub.com and go to the Transverse SR forum for any questions you might have.

It is very possible! But you should probably go with a SR20DE, keep it N/A and take it to SCCA solo runs and take some Corvette's to school with some good old footwork and smootn powerband!
Weapndrift..what do you mean you need an SR20 Instead of an SR20DE (as if the SR20DE only belongs on RWD's). When it comes to nissan engines they are named on three things. Series of block, displacement, head configuration, and forced inducted or N/A.

Series: SR, KA, RB, CA, VG
Dicplacement: 20(2.0) 24(2.4) 26(2.6) 18(1.8) 30(3.0)
Head Confi: SOHC-E DOHC-DE
Aspiration: Nothing if its NA - (T) if its Turbo
(TT) Twin Turbo

It has to be a transverse SR20 motor. The longitudinal SR20 motors from the Silvia will not work in your Sentra. If your GXE came with an SR20DE motor, but a turbo kit for it.
