my 1997 honda prelude rear steering system is not working what can be the cause?

Put it in reverse.

It is probably the servo to the steering, quite expensive to repair. Good luck finding a used one working.
Could be wiring or as simple as a fuse

a fuse or the steeper motor at the rear get w/shop to check it out
