She bought the 3 used tires at a tire dealer and they installed the tires, 2 in the rear and one in the front. She bought the tires for temperary driving only until she had save up to buy new ones. the dealer sold the used tires for $40 for 3 tires plus the installing. The reciept which my wife signed had printed "used tires have no garranteed". 12 days past and on a freeway, my wife driving about 55 to 60 miles an hour one of the rear tires burst and damaged the rear side body of the vehicle, nothing happen to my wife she was able to pull the car over to the shoulder of the freeway. The burst of the tire cause over $4,000 worth of damages to the vehicle. Do we have legal grounds to have the tire dealer pay us for the damages of the vehicle since not even 12 days past and one of the tires burst. It could have been worst someone in the freeway could have been killed because of the tire.
