A week ago unfortunately my Pontiac Grand Prix GTP was totaled in an accident. My husband removed the car bra but not the hardware - you know the snaps you snap your car bra into around the nose of the car. My question is where do I get this replacement hardware?

I'm picking up my new gtp today...woohoo!

If so, could you describe the crash and what you could have done to prevent it?

I am driving a 1990 Toyota Corolla. The shocks (both front and rear) are shot, according to the mechanic. I only need the car to last another 6 months. On average, I drive about 5 miles/day (if that). Can I risk not changing them? What happens when there are no shocks?

I have recently had my water pump replaced. My car was working fine for 1 week and now it is overheating and the water seems to be going internally into the Oil (which seems very watery). Is this a head gasket symptom? My car is a Daewoo Korando 1998 model 2.3L

Thanks

Michelle

Back in August I was riding my SR-125 and when all of a sudden my engined died without warning. It was taken away to the bike shop and they identified the problem: one of the valves has become unseated and has lodged itself out of the engine! They recommended scrapping the engine and buying a second hand one, they estimate this will cost approx. £300 for the engine and installation, the bike is worth roughlt £500-£600. Would it be more economical to break the bike down and sell it as spares or do as the garage suggested and source a second hand engine and fit that?

If the fuel tanks are load bearing members of the wing, I can see how it's done, but if the tank is just a "passenger" within the wing, I can't see how it's done. ( I have only flown a few times, so I am totally in awe of how these big aeroplanes work)

i have a 1970 dodge charger coming along very well in its restoration. but currently, i have no fuel system. i am not going to get the original gas tank that year one offers, in stead i want to go with a 20 gallon aluminum fuel cell that summit racing offers. but... i noticed a lot of things. in the picture, it shows 2 fittings coming off of the sump, and 2 fittings on the top of the cell im guessing for ventilation? anyways, i need to know where these two -8AN fittings go to. i mean obviously, i need one of them to run to a hose, to a "in-line" filter, to an aluminum line, to another hose and to the fuel pump right? well, i need to know what size aluminum fuel line i need is it 3/8"? 5/8"? etc.. and i need to know why there is 2 fittings on the fuel cell instead of just one? im all new to this and before i spend 350 bucks i just want to know exactly what i need. if anyone can give me a list of the stuff, id appreciate it. [fittings, line, etc..] im running a mopar 383 stock.thnx

I am wanting to spray-paint my vehicle boot and roof as it has faded heaps compared to the rest of the car. I’m more of a DYI sorta shelia and need some tips…

I can take the petrol flap off for someone to match the paint yes?
How much paint would I need?
What or how do I prime or prepare before I paint?
Is using an airless paint sprayer ok for a home job?

I know it wont be perfect, but I’m not going to pay a couple thousand for something I should be able to do for a fraction of the cost.

Any help appreciated
Cheers

UP (and other roads) have changed the titles of many of their operations management positions over the years.

Trainmasters became Managers of . . . ?
Road Foremen of Engines became ____?
Terminal Superintendents became ____?
Asst. Division Supers became ____?
Division Supers became ____?
Divisions became service units.

i.e. SYO, MTO, MOP, MYO, MIO, SMTO, SMOP, DRO, DTS
(not certain what many of these stand for, and/or what old title they correspond to)

Some service units seem to have General Supers, while others just have Supers. The terms MANAGER and DIRECTOR seem to have become very popular.

Basically I would like to know what each of the management operations positions are now called, and what is they're hierarchy (who reports to whom)?

I know I asking a lot. Thanks!

I still haven't found the exact factory color. If you go to edmonds.com and red the review for the 1996 Bronco they have a picture of an exact Bronco (like mine) that I'm looking for the color to. It was an option in late 95 and all of 96. To me it's a Competition Red or just Red cause it's a flat 1 stage paint no clearcoat. Almost positive it's not Crimson that is too dark. It's more like a 2001,02 Mustang and that Comp. Red. Any idea? Closest color I have found is from Plasti-kote it's 1510 Bright Red but it's a shade or two off I have used this for my hitch and reciever, not too noticable til you put it next to a panel but close.
