I remember once my mom rented one and we were going down the highway doing the speed limit 70 mph and it sounded like it was struggling lol. Absolutely hilarious. Then she got it to 80 and the thing started shaking like it was epileptic in an arcarde or something.

Freggin hilarious. Would it even be possible to make it fast? I doubt it. Lol.

Take the Civette for example. The Civette is a Honda Civic thats been converted to rearwheeldrive and has a Corvette motor in it, and that thing is fast.

So, possible? Yes. Only with a lot of time and money.

On I-15N, approaching State-line, NV, there is a LOOOOOONG downhill grade, something like 20 miles.

Your Geo will be PLENTY fast there.

Because a small 3-cylinder engine simply doesn't put out enough power. If they had gears that were tall enough to do 85, it wouldn't be able to move from a stop.
