Attention: Sportbike Technicians, I need your input!?

I am greatly considering becoming a motorcycle mechanic, all geared towards eventually starting my own aftermarket performance shop one day. Not to get into your personal finances or anything, but how much does a beginning moto tech make in his first year?

Most good..mechanic's make $20.00 per hour.

Expect minimum wage for the first month or two, if fresh out of school.
Gives the shop a chance to get to know if you're worth keeping.
