I want to get a high performance muffler for my car (2005 Hyundai Accent) that will not make it sound like Darth Vader after he ran a 10k. Any suggestions?

I've got a 2001 Fatboy with about 600 miles on it. The tires look like they have plenty of tread left, but they are getting little cracks in them. I don't get it. I squirt Armor-all on them every weekend when I polish the bike, but it still looks like they dried out. What new tires should I buy that won't crack so easy?

i need to switch my summer tires to either all winter or all season tires. i like the handling that i get from my eagle f1's, they impress me more all the time. i would like to get the same performance and handling as the summer tires, but i realize that i am probably dreaming. if i could get some sweet handling all season tires, i would stay with them and not switch back. any suggestions, the size i need are 215 45 17's speed rated above h.

I know it's obvious that I shouldn't get a powerful car, but size is a trivial issue for me.

I feel that if I get a small car, I would be less tempted to take passengers with me, allowing me to concentrate on the road more. This is a big factor, since every extra passenger multiplies the chance of an accident. However, I would need space for my stuff for college, and if I ever decide to take a road trip or whatever. I'm also worried that if I get in an accident, physics alone will tell me that if I'm the lighter car, I'm screwed.

If I get a larger car, my friends would nag me for a ride, which I would probably give in to. I can also carry much more stuff with me, and if I'm in an accident, I'm more likely to be safe. Then again, in a bigger car, wouldn't I be a bigger danger to drivers on the road?

It has about 105k miles on it. Some one told us it could be bad gas. But I don't know about that we tried some of that fuel stuff and it still does it some time.

My husband is dead set on not wanting a car. We don't want a truck or van so that only leaves SUVs. We like the small size SUVs (we own a Hyundai Santa Fe now) and we're currently looking at those. But - cars are cheaper and better on gas usually! He said he doesn't like cars because they feel so low to the ground. Can anyone out there tell me a car that is up kinda high off the ground and would comfortably fit 2 car seats and stroller in the truck? Thanks a lot!

I had bought a new hyundai in 2004, but had to get my father as a co-signer. Now my dad needs a car and wants to take the one I have and I can get another car, but wants me to be out of his credit. My credit is bad. Is it possible to have my dad co-sign for a car for me and then have him transfer the account to me within a week/month/etc.

I've gone to lending tree but they all require me to trade in my hyundai to get a car without a co signer. I can't.

Is it possible for my dad to transfer the car i buy to my name in around a month so that I am off his credit ???

My stepmum committed suicide last year after suffering from depression and my dad has been left to look after her young daughter!! He has always been not keen on children but has built a really strong bond with her and really deserves something nice for the day. Its his 50th on Xmas Eve and he really deserves it!!

My shifter sticks up or down, depending on what gear I am going into, when shifting. For instance, when shifting up into second gear, i must gently tap the shifter down to the middle postion in order to continue to shift into third gear. It almost feels like the spring mechanism that returns the shifter isn't working properly. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks...

I'm 18 at the moment, and I want to learn to drive a motorbike. Is it true that at my age I can only ride a bike of a limited power? And what's all this about a CBT? And roughly how much does it cost for lessons?

Cheers everyone

i can't find out the reason..
it runs, it takes a while for it to get up to speed
it clunks when i put it in reverse

i've took it to several mechanics they have all said different things.

the last one said it has something to do with the electrical.
because he tried flashing the engine to reset everything, and that didn't work.

can someone help me find out whats wrong with it ?

Hi, I'm looking into buying a Mustang GT next year, and I recently used the Build & Price feature on Ford.com to create an image and specification of the exact car I want, color, options, and everything.

The one thing I'm curious about is the "Destination & Delivery" fee: Does this mean the vehicle I'm "building" will be literally custom manufactured to every detail I've selected on the B&P feature and delivered to my local Ford dealer (after I contact my local dealer as it says to do), reserved for me to buy and take home?
Or does it mean something else entirely, such as seeking out close matches to the car I've designed?

It doesn't say anything about the exact after effects of contacting your local dealer with the B&P info you've put in, it just tells you to contact them and discuss the desired car.

How long does it take you and what state are you in? It takes me 90 minutes to get to work everyday and I hate it. I am curious to see what people have to go through in their commute and the difference between states.
