You need to look at the idle air control (iac) the throttle position sensor Itps) and clean the throttle body. The iac and tps are located on the throttle body and may be sticking or need replaced.

there could be several things that would cause this to happen one would be bad gas, another would be a stopped up filter,or a really dirty air filter, you can also have a bad idle air control valve on it,causing this,it helps control the air for it at idle,if its not working right it will die out at idle a lot,you need to have the computer scanned on it to be sure, this will give you a trouble code to work with, that should help solve what its doing that,a fuel pump going bad will also cause this to happen, good luck on it.
