My husband is dead set on not wanting a car. We don't want a truck or van so that only leaves SUVs. We like the small size SUVs (we own a Hyundai Santa Fe now) and we're currently looking at those. But - cars are cheaper and better on gas usually! He said he doesn't like cars because they feel so low to the ground. Can anyone out there tell me a car that is up kinda high off the ground and would comfortably fit 2 car seats and stroller in the truck? Thanks a lot!

look at the 2008 tarus [nee ford 500] it sits higher than a car an all wheel drive system is available [makes it a decent snow car]
it has a lot of interior room and alot of groceries will fit with that stroller in the trunk
another plus is that every town large enough to have a car dealer has a ford dealer

I own the ford explorrer and I wish I would have bought The excursion because my mileage is about regular and I am not saving much on gas. Tell your husband to check them out because they are actually trucks.
