"Cozy " brand floor furnace. Pilot light lights. Gas valve will not open for burner flame. It is not the thermostat unless the wires to the thermostat have beome disconnected between the thermostat and the gas valve. Have already gone around thermostat. I used to work on "boilers" so am some what acquainted on how the furnace is supposed to work. If I go arond the 2 Limit disk, I then believe I either have some broke wires or something is wrong with the gas valve itself. What do you think?

Because Christmas is coming up pretty fast, I was wondering whether or not I should get my 14 year old son a pocket bike. Money's not an issue here. He's mature, and I know he'd try to be as safe as possible, but we do live in New Jersey. It will probably be the x18-r which is about the size of a real motorcycle. I'm still debating this because I dont want to get in trouble with the police or anything. What do you think?

I'm looking at purchasing one of two cars. One of them is a 2000 Toyota Camry with 102k miles on it. The other is a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with 60k miles. The Cavalier is also about $500 less than the Camry. Both cars are in great condition and have been well serviced and taken care of. Any opinion on which one I should go with? I'm leaning towards the Cavalier of course, because it costs less and is about 40k lower. But I know from personal friends that those Camry's can go on over 200K+ if they are well serviced and maintained. Thoughts?

I have a 94 Buick Regal GS 3.8vl engine, and I recently got the oil changed. The mechanic added 4 1/2 quarts to my car. I added a bottle of Lucas Oil Stabilizer to the motor also... I think it was a quart also. When I check my dip stick... the oil level is about a quarter of an inch past the very top oil line. What harm will that do?

I would think Democrats since they are peaceful and free. Plus a lot of the Harley riders I see don't look like the they have jobs. Except for all the posers and yuppies that only ride on the weekends.

I've had a slow leak in my tire for about 9 months now. I just keep refilling it every other week.

It never would get so low that the rim would touch the ground and I was just putting off the inevitable.

But I didn't drive my car all week and when I went to drive it today it was totally flat (right to the rim). I put on the spare but I'm wondering whether I can still salvage the tire or not.

What do you guys suggest? I'd like to avoid having to buy a new full set of tires.

This is a dumb question because there is no place where one could ever have been so im almost positive it was never there. I thought it was illegal to not have all your mirrors. Are there any cars that came without mirrors on the right side?

Thanks

My car (98 Toyota Corolla VE) makes a weird noise when speeding from 0-30mph and takes engine oil every twice a week. I am tired to spending money on engine oil all the time...and the noise....It just burns an oil...so i went to mechanics to diagnose my engine. They told me there's a problem with a engine gasket or head cover gasket....i saw smoke was coming out when he pressed the accelerator too much....!
He gave me an estimation of $780 with included $650+ Tax labor charge and remaining charge for replace of gasket. The time for maintenance is 10 to 12 hrs. They were telling me that its a hectic process to take out the gasket and make it dry....!!

I need help from somebody who's expert in car maintenance. I want to know if that's true about the labor charge....and all or he's trying to fool me?
