If i go above 60 mph it doesnt shift.. and it is at about 5000 rpms when im at 80... i know thats not good. but when i push the overdrive button it will shift fine..any ideas whats wrong? because i have it in the shop and they cant figure it out. this happened before but at a lower speed and they said it was the transmission so they replaced it but now they say it could be an engine performance problem... any ideas?

It's not any kind of problem. The overdrive control just got set to default to the off state when the car starts. So instead of disabling the overdrive when you push the button, it turns it enables it.
