I heard you can put a chip on a truck to make it run fast, i dont know the device but if a GMC or a Chevy would have one which truck would win the race?
Im talking about the new trucks 2007..........?

Both trucks are the same. The only difference is the appearance on the outside. Engine, chassis and everything is the same. The price is actually the same. The only difference is Chevrolet has a lot more advertisement than GMC.

I own a shop, a drag car & truck, so I know a little about racing. This race would be too close to call. It would also depend on the engines, driver experience, and weight in the trucks. There are some programmers on the market that will allow you to make the truck go faster. You can find these at:
www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com
These programmers attach to the ADL connector under the dash, and allow you to change the parameters of the program, and go back any time you wish to normal. The big benefit is they allow you to get more speed out of the vehcile. You can get one for about $400 and is well worth the money. If these are deisel engines, then a programmer such as a Bully Dog can get you a lot of power, but they are pretty expensive. Since they are both GM vehicles, and are basically the same truck when it comes to the engines, this would be a race that you would want less weight, and would have to get a quick start on the tree, or you might end up loosing the race.

The GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado are the same car. It depends on te driver.
