How long does it take you and what state are you in? It takes me 90 minutes to get to work everyday and I hate it. I am curious to see what people have to go through in their commute and the difference between states.

LOL, If I drive 3 mins, if I walk 25 mins.
I detest having to spend any more than 20 mins driving to and from work, so I took a job with around 1/2 the pay to kill the commute.
I figure I don't need an expensive, reliable car, those saved minutes on the road I can use relaxing, no high fuel bills, I can come home for lunch, and if the car brakes down I can walk.
In 11 years, in all the times I have walked, a workmate driving to work has seen me and given me a lift, same coming home.

Wow, I could never handle a 90 minute commute! My commute right now is 15-20 minutes (I'm very lucky). My husband's is close to an hour. We live outside of Washington, DC.

I live in the upper Baltimore area and I have to drive 31 miles south of Baltimore city everyday to work on I-95 through the Fort McHenry tunnel. I takes me between 30min (no rain or inclement weather) and about 40-45 min in bad weather.

Michigan 15-20 minutes. If I'm late though I can cut it down to 10 minutes providing there isn't any cops on the freeway waiting to get someone.

I work in Toronto, Canada and I live in the suburbs - it takes me about 90 mins to get to work too by train/subway. What makes it worse is that the place where I work wants people to work overtime often... let's just say that I sneak out when I can. ;)
