just bought kawazaki klr600 1986 being reading alot on the internet about cam chain tensoners and chain balancers problems i have heard a noise not sure from where like a chain its not very loud but i was wondering could this be a problem

Have you adjusted the valves?
It may just be loose valve clearances causing a tapping noise.
This type of noise would sound like a tapping or clicking noise.
The tensioner or cam chain would sound like a whirring, or whizzing.
Either way - check the valve clearances - it probably hasn't been done in a while, if ever.
