I'm new to driving. and I was just wondering you a cop pull you over for going a few miles over the speed limit? Like if it was 45 and you were going 48. I always go the speed limit but would a cop really pull you over for that? When I get on the highway, the speed limit is 55 and there are soo many people that go up to 63-65. I don't see how they get away with this!!?? It's so unsafe to be going 65...

whats that thing called, it's like a combination of remote start and push to start. You have the regular push to start button but it only starts if you have the remote inside the car because that is more safe. If anyone knows what this is called or how much it cost it would be appreciated.

ok i have a 1999 Subaru outback. i think the engine has a head gasket leak.(the engine heats up and doesn't cool down! not until i raise the rpm to about 4 thousand rpm.) I have a few different choices. first, rebuild the engine. that way i know everything would be correct. The other thing is that i can buy a used one out of a wrecked car and replace the engine with the 2.2 litter engine. right now the engine is the 2.5 non-turbo. Any suggestions? Any experiences? I have about a week. I need some help anything? Please HELP!

Its easy I think to be speeding on a odd occasion as often the speed limits are not displayed clearly or at all and they change often. Its easy to do. Buying a detector will stop losing my license and stop increasing the burden on the overstretched trains if I did. What do you think?

I am a part time Used Car dealer. I do it in my spare time, and use tools such as Ebay, Craigslist, etc. I do not have a property or established business. I deal with cheap vehicles, mostly $2000 and under. I've had over 20 successful deals, all with happy buyers. In these 20 instances, all vehicles have been paid in full upon pickup.

Recently, I have been asked to provide financing on a vehicle I have for sale, which got me thinking. The vehicle in question is a 2001 Crown Victoria, with an NADA Value of upwards of $4500. I am taking in a partial trade, and the deal was that the buyer would pay $700 in cash to supplement the deal.

The buyer does not have the $700 in cash. He offered to pay me $150/month for 6 months to cover the cost. My question is what can I do legally to secure my interest in the car? Can I place a lien on the title, though I am not a bank? I am in Michigan.

I saw an ad today for a new model truck. It was utterly ugly. Is ugly what makes a man want to spend $45,000 for a pathetic vehicle?

Hi
I just bought a 1998 Honda Civic EX from a person who had a Texas license plate on there. We are going to the dealer, so he pay the dealer off when i pay him, that in turn will allow the dealer to put the car in his name and then he will sign it off to me.

This person has had a California License plate, which he showed me, but he had been in Texas for a year and has not changed the plates when he came back.

Can someone give me step by step directions on what to do next with the DMV.

I would appreciate it, this is my first car. So i need your help

Thanks

I'm at a point where I need to decide whether to buy a $60k Lotus or a house first. To be honest this car isn't practical and is basically a two seat racer made to be used mostly on the race tracks, but it's my dream car and I'm willing to wait a few years before buying a house.

What would you do?

Alright. My dad has a 84-85 honda shadow that works really well. All except for the shifting/transmission part. When I rode it, the thing woulnd't shift down easily. You had to hit it down a couple times and then it would shift. Causes problems when i reach intersections when it does that. Shifting up has no problems at all. I would like to fix it in order to get my motorcycle liscense with that bike cause I don't have any others. Whats the matter with it? Is it getting too old and dryed out or what? How can i fix it?

As some of you may know I recently picked up a beat up old jeep cherokee. The night I bought it it hesitated to start but I figured it was just because it sat for so long.I got it home went in had a sandwich went back outside to go to my brothers place and the mother$%^#@$% thing was DEAD.I snapped lol. Finally I realized no juice left,so I boosted it and it started right up.Now the $#%@ starts .Suddenly it's revving at 1400 in park, but when I shift into drive it drops to 1000.I've read thats the cherokee with the inline 6 is supposed to idle at about 600 to 650.Is that true ?What could be the problem ?I do have quite a bit of mechanical ability and access to a wrecking yard in the family?
