Why?

I can afford $3 or even $4 a gallon. Doesn't mean I want to pay it. Also, my personal out of pocket for gasoline is the least of my concerns when it comes to high gasoline prices.

First, high gasoline prices mean that everything else is going to start to cost more. Those trucks that move stuff around don't run on love. Second, high gasoline prices mean that my friends and neighbors are going to spend more on gasoline and less on Christmas presents this month. That's bad for the economy.

It would be very bad and drain a big hole in our wallets. But another way to think about is maybe it might open up some eyes. That the American people needs to start getting involved in what goes on in our country. Not only that but it will probably help in our global warming concern in result not that many vehicles will be driven and won't pollute the air. For me it doesn't even need to hit $10.00 per gallon even if it increased to $6.00 per gallon I myself would stop driving and use public transportation. Simple but yet interesting question.

i'm skeptical that it can make ethanol for a dollar a gallon. also as an engineer, it isn't threat-free to have unqualified human beings making ethanol. i ask your self if all of us ought to have the sprinkler density, and explosion safe practices mandatory? See NFPA. I supply it 3 months before someone blows up there living house. for all of us who hates the oil agencies. the textile they take care of nasty and unsafe. that is probable the most risky operation contained in the international at the same time as thinking parts. they extremely do an somewhat good tremendous interest of this. (No i do no longer paintings for the oil agencies) I do paintings in engineering threat. i extremely doubt they can make it for the dollar. in the journey that they could they could be installation larger centers to make the product. They probable ignore the 7 cents a kW/hr of electrical energy.

indeed, i've been saying that for years. i see idiots (hussy housewives and weeny pencil-necks) driving hummers, excursions, and super-duty trucks just for their daily transportation and it makes me sick. it's all about status, that's the ONLY reason. there should be a gas tax based on the mpg of the vehicle, calculated at the pump. well things will be interesting in 20 or 30 years when there is no crude oil left. i don't see why it's so hard for americans to understand that there is a LIMITED amount of the stuff on this planet, and when we rape the earth of the last few barrels, then what?

You have to be dumber than a bag of door knobs or George Bush. Is it really that bad, that you have to make a statement like this to get attention.?
