I saw an ad today for a new model truck. It was utterly ugly. Is ugly what makes a man want to spend $45,000 for a pathetic vehicle?

GM sells more 1/2 ton trucks than Ford, Dodge, Nissan, or Toyota. I guess 900k-1 million people a year don't agree.

I haven't seen that one yet evidently.I personally am a chevy man.Just had better luck with chevy than ford or dodge and i've owned them all.What I would like to know though,is why can't any of them make a 4wd truck that can get at least 25 mpg or better?The technology is there.If they can make cars that get 40 to 60 mpg then what the hell is the problem.

It looks like they are taking the "Transformers" thing a little too far...lol. The 1500 doesn't look so bad, it's the 2500/3500 that burn your retinas. I think they are trying to make it look futuristic and tough, but they ended up just making it ugly. Fortunately for GM, it is still better looking than the Tundra and the Titan.

I don't think there ever has been such a thing as a "good lookin" chev, no matter what you got ripped off for it........no wait, I Have! it was on the other end of my towrope getting pulled out of a snowbank by my Bronco! Ha Ha Ha! let me tell you, It was stuck "like a rock "anyways.

Well, which model was it? I am an avid GM fan (it has supported my family for 3 generations), and I like the new Silverado! If you don't like it, don't buy one! The designers designed it this way so that it would appeal to buyers.

I agree they arent much to look at on the outside.I like the interior on them though.I couldnt believe it when I first seen one.I was wondering what they were thinking as far as the looks.The prices are still a bit high as well.

They make it for people who arent like you. And its GM dumba$$. They own them all. Go buy your Ford truck and enjoy its 3 years of durability, or go buy a honda and leave us alone.

idk maybe now that they are selling opals as Malibu's they had the designers form the old Malibu's design the trucks. IDK how GM makse such ugly cars but they manage the trucks didn't used to look that bud but i don't like the new ones.
