Hi
I have a Honda 1993 Vigor, the warning light directly under the oil warning light is on. It looks a bit like an engine with the word "check" . Can anyone tell me what it means? Thanks

That is your check engine light, it means the computer has sensed an issue with the drivability of the vehicle. I suggest taking it to a reputable repair facility and having it diagnosed.

That is the "Check Engine" light. It means that the engine computer has detected a problem some where.
You need to see a High quality shop for proper diagnosis.
Just getting the codes read does not diagnose the problem
Many people will tell you to change a part, but they have not looked at it.
Some things are simple like a loose gas cap or complicated like a system lean. You must get it checked out to know what is wrong.

It is telling you to go to auto zone or similar auto store and have them read the trouble code and see what's up. That is a check engine light you are seeing and it says you have a problem with the emission ststem.

There are lots of reasons it may be on.. I found with my truck it was because the Senser got Wet after it dried it went off..
there also used to let you know you need oil change..after so many mile without it getting reset it auto comes on... I would just get it checked just to be safe
