I was researching the Underwater World Speed Record and it seems there is only information on a few military submarines which only go about 40mph.

is it true there is no official world record for travelling underwater? seems very unusual!

My ford wouldn't say a word so I moved the battery wire a little and then it got power but it wouldn't connect. I think I may have blown a fuse or something, any suggestions?

The motor has about 300 hrs and is an Evinrude 88 or 90 horsepower. The boat is kept under a carport and is in great shape. The only thing that I see wrong with it is the upholstery is slightly cracked and one rod holder needs to be replaced. Center console with auto trim. No scratches or dents on the hull. No rust anywhere and a trailer with rollers.

I don't know alot about cars....at all. My front end makes a really loud sound, my friends have joked saying it sounds like a plane taking off. It isn't the engine because I can still barely hear it changing gears and its not that. And, when I go around a left curve (never a right curve) the sound stops and my car is quiet like its supposed to be. Anyone have any ideas as to what this is and what I can do to get it fixed and/or what it may cost to get fixed? I can't afford right now to just go to a mechanic and have him tell me what it is, but if I had an idea of the cost I could save for that.

I drive a 2002 Dodge Neon , FWD automatic if that helps.

It is coming from the underneath of the car. It sounds like a flat tire, but isn't it. Also, when I turn the steering wheel, it gives a squeeking noise. What does this sound like? Is it dangerous to drive?

My Partner, aged 60, used to race bikes years ago, has just purchased a 1983 Suzuki GS 750E for £200. It wouldn't start but after being collected by a local firm it has just passed its MOT with a new battery incurring the only expense.
My question is, 'is it a good buy for him, or a goodbye from me?'

Florida state, Not at fault, 3rd party claim: I got my vehichle appraised and on the appraisal evaluation I realize that I will be getting recycled parts. I called my adjuster again and requested for OEM parts and they refused to do so saying the law is on their side bla bla bla. My car is an 03 and from my understanding since I am not at fault I should be entiled with OEM parts in Florida. Anyone can shed me some lights? thanks..

I am looking to get a jack for my car to do my own tire rotations. I already own Jack stands, but the Jack that is with the car isn't very good. I would like to get a Jack that is easier to use. I see hydraulic jacks are a lot cheaper than floor jacks. I was wondering what the pro's and con's are for each jack and if the floor jack is worth the additional money. Thanks.
