Just wondering if it's worth the money to get a K&N air filter for my 2007 Santa Fe? WIll it really increase gas mileage?

K&N has a proven track record and performance history. This is the first time I've ever seen a negative comment about them, not sure what that dudes problem is. Read more on the links below to see for yourself, you can't go wrong with the K&N, best price and value too.

You might get a couple percentage increase in mileage/power with the K&N. They cost about 3 times more, but last a lifetime unlike traditional filters which are thrown away every 15,000 miles or less. Cleaning is relatively easy with the recharge kit. So, I think its worth it in the long run for more then 1 reason.

No, the K&N causes more problems than they are worth. Definitely NO on a 2007 car. You can gum up the throttle body. Waste of money. If it were so simply to increase gas mileage, the factory would have done it. Such claims are often anecdotal and unprovable and fall on their face when tested accurately.
