have a whipper snipper/petrol line trimmer connected to my bike. well first of all my dad finished making a frame for it today and i took it for a ride up and down the streets. it ran beautifully for about 2 hours then my brother got home and i wanted to show him. so i tryed to start it and hit the primer a fair few times and it kicked over but not really so i took it round the back and there was alot of fuel leaking from the carberetor where it sucks it air. so whats wrong, did i prime it too much or is the carberetor stuffed? please help

I have a 1996 Camry, V6 XLE with about 175k miles on the clock. Recently when I started the car in the morning to go to work, the starter worked but it kept 'clicking' as the engine started. I was concerned so I turned the engine off, but the starter was still 'clicking'. I had to take the key out of the ignition and disconnect the battery for the 'clicking' to stop. I recently bought a replacement starter, but I am wondering the cause of this problem as well as if there are any additional parts I may need to purchase to fix this problem. My boyfriend (an amateur mechanic) keeps telling me that I need to buy a new ignition switch or an igntition lock column. Every mechanic I have talked to over the phone says that I need a new starter, but I am not sure who to believe. Any ideas??

I keep seeing this bumper sticker everywhere... and i saw it on a sign somewhere too... its yellow, and it says "motorcycles are everywhere" and something else on the top and bottom but i couldnt read it. What does the rest say? Wered it come from? Why does everyone suddenly have one? Why would a boat dealership have a sign of it?

I have an 85 Chevy Blazer and while I was driving back from work today my turn signals stopped working. The arrows on the dash don't light up either. The fuse didn't blow and none of the lights are burned out. But here is the strangest part, when I hit my hazard button, they all light up, the turn signals and the arrows. I am quite confused and any help would be great.

What is the maximum mileage I can drive for until I really have to have an oil change on my '07 New Beetle Convertible? Mine is way passed due for its 5000 mi. check up, it is now on 7000! I just can't find the time to go...(and the dealership is not conveniently located). But anyway I'm going in a few days, but do you think it'll be okay?

Sorry, I know nothing about cars, except that it's really fun to drive with my convertible down!

I just got my first job today as a Field Engineer with duties including picking up parts from central office, delivering it to customers and if required installing these parts. The job will run for 2 months, after which I may or may not be asked to stay on.

As happy as I am to have got the job, I am now having problems because I have been told that I will need to use my own van when doing this job.
I am really confused about what to do now, I don't have a van and don't really want to buy a van just in case I am told that I can't stay on after the 2 months.

I have just had a quick look at some van hire companies on the net and the cheapest I could find for a 2 month period is £1600(not sure if this includes insurance).

The job itself only pays £300-£400 per week, its also in central London so the added hassle of £8 daily congestion charge.

Any advice or suggestions about what I could do to afford this job would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Ergun

When I bought it the woman said she just put a brand new on in it and it cost her like $700 .....I dont know much about cars. Oh and another thing...What if when I let off the gas it shifts kinda hard, is that normal? And do these cars really last over 300,000 miles?!!

I get so nervous driving I sometimes think I should give up, I am a very anxious person and have always been, and I know driving and nervousness do not go along.Today I totally screwed up, I used the left turnlight while turning right, I am devastated, thank god the person behind me didn't get pissed, bless their heart. I wonder if others drove badly as me when learning to drive.

I have an 02 Cavalier and it won't start or even turn over. I had this problem a while ago and I had the Battery connectors replaced, things seemed to be good after that. I now went to start my car and I get nothing, I have no lights or power at all but my dash indicators have stayed on and a few numbers on my mileage are still lighted. Do you think it is my battery or what else could it be?

What parts would I need to build a LSX 9.800" with 1000hp with or without forced induction and how much would it cost? Should I go with 500+ ci and super/turbo charger with low boost or 427 ci and a super/turbo charger at a much higher boost since the walls will be thicker or just bore it out and not use a charger?

I was driving down the street when a car that was leaving a shopping center just zipped right out in front of me and I "T-boned" her car. She said that she wasn't even looking, that she was looking the other way. But her insurance company has deemed the accident 100% my fault according to witness testimony (the friend of the girl whose car I hit), and they refuse to pay for damages!

I have a humvee that WAS overheating. It would sound like it was sucking in air through somewhere. I did a pressure test on the radiator cap and it only held 7lbs of pressure. I changed the cap and removed the thermostat. Now it's not overheating, but it is still sucking air. The problem is, when it starts to heat up (not overheat), it spits out coolant through the over flow tube. Then runs out of coolant/water, then overheats. Can anybody help me with this problem?

I know this is a stupid girly question......

I got a flat tire the other day so i put the spare tire on and drove it for a few days about 50-60 miles. I've heard that a spare tire is only good for about that many miles.....is that true?

And after i got a new tire i just put the spare back in my trunk....does that mean i can't use it again if i got another flat tire at some point??

The city is widening this road and adding a streetlight. One of the dumps trucks leaving the worksite was in front of me and a rock came off and cracked my windshield.

Do you call the city and tell them (will they pay to get it fixed), or do you call your auto insurance and place a claim??
