I want to build a 4.8 metre bay fishing boat. I have quotes for an alloy kit but this requires specialist skill in welding. I am also looking at a timber boat with epoxy or bote cote exterior. Which do you think is better? The waters in Port Phillip Bay are treacherous so the craft in question needs to be able to high tail it when necessary.

Two months ago I had a little car accident where a women stalled her car at the lights and I went into the back of it. There was hardly any damage to her car but we exchanged details and we both agreed not to go through our Insurance. I have stuck to my end of the bargain and bought her a new bumper and painted it. She just needed to get it fitted ( her decision for stalling the car ) but now 2 months on, I have received a letter from her insurance company, saying she hasnt had the parts ( when she has ) and she is claiming for Whiplash, but the car was stationery. I have contacted my insurance company who said they would deal with it but I just wondered where I stood cos it was over two months ago and its already cost me £150.

People die everyday on the roads because of people who speed, turn/change lanes without using their signal, and just plane drive recklessly. It really pisses me off. Do you think it's our culture to continue to be selfish and disrespectful to safety or do you think the police are too lenient?

A vehicle is a lethal weapon. People need to be more mature and attentive when handling one.

Every time I see a reckless driver being disrespectful to traffic laws, I fantasize about shooting them for the sake of making the world a safer place.

What happened to the great cars that Lincoln us eto build. Mark VII, Continental.etcc. Ford has miss managed this "onceGreat brand" The town car was designed over 20 years ago, and they have no car to revival the likes of BMW or Mercedes. Atleast Cadillac has gotten its act together and they have a positive and defiite direction and purpose in the market place. Lincoln-Mercury is just spinnning its wheels waiting for the next big Ford VEHICLE to be restamped as a Lincoln product. The good ole days at lincoln may have come and GONE FOREVER...

I'm referring to basically the body colour and the interior (e.g. seats, dashboard, door panels, etc.).

Also can you really pick any color?

I am writing a story for school and want to give my character car trouble, but I don't know much about cars. I want all of the lights on the car to go out while driving and not come back on. Dash lights can stay, but headlights, taillights, and turn signals should not work. What should I "break" on the car?

P.S.: You can suggest the model and make of a car to make it easier, but I would prefer a family vehicle, like a sedan or something.

I bought a new Mazda 6 in 2005. During the second year of ownership I have had 5 issues while under warrant (all non-related) and now my warranty is up. Now that my warranty is up, I have had two more troubles with the car. My troubles have included: the throttle body sensor needing to be replaced (twice), a bad bose radio (replaced), air conditioning went out, middle council power went out, the battery is shot, and now I need new tires. Is it normal to have this many issues with a mazda 6, especially while it was still under warranty? I am stuck between a rock and hard place becasue I can't afford to trade it for a new car due to what I owe. All I do is spend my time at the dealership for repairs and give them more money now that the warranty is up. Is there anything I can do? The dealership just tells me this is normal and wants to sell me a new car I can't afford. Someone...please help! And BTW...don't buy a Mazda 6 unless you have a lot of time, patience and money!

Who do I contact if I accidentally gave the wrong insurance information to the officer? I was driving my mother’s car and gave the officer the only insurance paper I could find, come to find out we are now with another insurance company. Also, I didn’t realize it at the time, but the address on my license is not my current address. Who do I contact so that I can give them the right information?
