I'm referring to basically the body colour and the interior (e.g. seats, dashboard, door panels, etc.).

Also can you really pick any color?

You can personalize the car very much if you order it directly at the Porsche Dealership.
You can choose even the color of the security belts. We have a friend who ordered it that way and he got a Turbo in a special yellow color, the interior was personalized to the exterior, he bought special carbon parts for the interior, lush leather and alcantara for it... but it all costs a lot. Of course if you plan to keep the car for a long time, it may be a good investment and it will be quiet unique.
For some persons that is not enough and they take the car to some tuner etc... but I would go for the special factory customization.

Porsche is very good with their customers, and you can order a car in pretty much any color you want.

Im not 100% sure about the interior though because many parts arent made in such a way that changing the color is easy. Talk to your local porsche dealer.

You can pick any color you want... when you are looking at the options list, you want to select "color to sample," where they will then match to whatever color you want (for interior or exterior).

If you have the money, then they will indulge your every whim. I went into the showroom the other day and it is amazing at what they offer their customers in terms of color, fabric, stitching.

well duh. If you can't get the color when you buy it, you can always take it to a shop and have them paint if WHATEVER color you want. You could have it white with black / pink polk-a-dots if you wanted. I'm assuming if you have the cash for a porche, you can pay for the color of your choice.
