About a month ago i was on the bus walking up to the front because my stop was coming when all the sudden (while i was in the middel of the isle) the bus driver slammed on the brakes and i flew into a set. and when i did i fell head first and bent my neck and i hit my tumby on the seat wall thing. and ever sinces then i have had pains. and i want to know what i should do about the bus driver. i am in a lot of pain. and i just have to know does he have the right to do that?
when i walked up there i was doing what i was told. on the first day he said that the last people on the bus have to move up to the front to get off. and no one was in front of us or anything.

I'm going to learn to drive, is it worth paying someone to teach you, I don't really have anyone in my family who has the time to show me, they promise me "tomorrow" but they get busy and don't, I just want to get it over with, but I'm unsure about it.

cheepest i found in my area is $40/Hr. they pick up & drop me off, from home.

Thanx

I recently replaced the muffler, exhaust manifold, and flex pipe on my 92 geo prizm, and now with all that din gone, i can hear a rattle that seems to be coming from the underside front of the car. It only happens when i press hard on the gas, not when i let up, coast, or brake. any ideas?

I've got an 01 Chevy prizm, when I put gas in, the idle speed jumps between 500 and 1500, Up and down for about 30 seconds or so. Has anyone else experienced this problem? How did you fix it?
It has 130,000 miles, I just replaced the Mass Air Flow sensor.

I was under the van today tinkering, and discovered a thin line from somewhere behind the front, passenger-side wheel to about halfway between the wheels where there's this black plastic sphere bolted to the undercarriage. The line was actually pulled out of the port where it clearly is designed to plug into the sphere, so I plugged it back in. But I could see no clear purpose for the sphere. I guess it would help to know something about the line that goes into it. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a mechanical moron. It's a 1998 Oldsmobile Silouette. Thoughts?

I had the local dealer come out and set the belt tension. It seems to be ok for a half hour or so, but then seems to lose some of its drive power. I checked the level in the chaincase and when I took out the plug, a couple of litres of oil poured out. It seemed kinda watery and looked like chocolate milk. Is there any way that rainwater could get in there. Ive already spent way too much money on this thing to take it back to the dealer, so any help would be very much appreciated. The drive motors were just re-surfaced at a local hydraulic shop, not complete new units. They told me they're as good as new. The drive belt and tensioner are also new.

I've driven Toyota's mostly and been very pleased, however I'm interested in buying either a sedan or wagon, and like the Saturn prices.
What has your experience been with Saturn, are they reliable? Would you recommend the make to someone else?

I have a new 07 Toyota, and i have to sit and wait for the "cold engine" light to go out before i drive or else it hesitates to shift into second. Of course it will do it, but only if i gas the engine more than you normally would. What could be the problem? Thanks!

I have a 1985 S-10 Blazer, I bought a windshield wiper motor to replace the old bad one. This one, everything works fine except when switched off, the wiper return to vertical instead of horizontal. Since there are only 4 wires into the unit, is there a way to correct this problem by just cut and rewire the external wires?

I recently snapped the key off in the ignition of my truck, and have had 2 locksmiths, and 2 friends out who know what they are doing, but none could get the key out. its jammed in there pretty tight. so one of my friends reccomended that I drill out the lock with a drill, and then use a screwdriver to start/stop the truck. Its a 1993 Chevy silverado, with tilt steering, and cruise control. dont' know if that helps...

Thanks in advance!

my brother just put a new throttle position sensor in his pickup cause a mechanic told him to. now sometimes it idles really slow and stalls. i think that you can adjust the TPS but he said he put the new one on in the same exact position as the old one came off. with the old sensor it idled like it should but the engine was surging in cruise controll going down the road and i think thats why the mechanic told him to change the TPS. and the new TPS fixed the surging now it just won't idle right and stalls. Any suggestions?

Dealer says will cost about $1000 to replace. There is no power steering fluid in it and doesn't seem to be anywhere to put fluid in. The wheel will not turn at all. The car doesn't seem that old to be needing such a costly repair. How do I know that it just doesn't need fluid and would be ok? Where do you add fluid to these cars?? Thank You!

BTW ... this is a friends car!

and had never even been off the road in them!
made me giggle!

Why do you need a 4x4 if you live in a huge city?

I know everyone has their choice, but I live in the sticks and own a caravan and horses so feel justified in having a 4x4 to get around the place efficiently (not a huge, top of the range one either)
But I see other women drivers especially, who drive them in cities and wonder whether they know what hill decent/4 wheel drive etc are really for?!

Ps I do, and use it a lot out here.

what is your opinion?
