I recently replaced the muffler, exhaust manifold, and flex pipe on my 92 geo prizm, and now with all that din gone, i can hear a rattle that seems to be coming from the underside front of the car. It only happens when i press hard on the gas, not when i let up, coast, or brake. any ideas?

Sounds like you're suffering from detonation. I wanted to say worn main bearings, especially in an older vehicle like yours, but you'd hear a rumble when you switch to coasting if your main bearings were worn.

It's possible that your anti-knock sensor isn't working properly, or that your computer isn't timing your ignition correctly. The anti-knock sensor is just a microphone screwed into the block, and is cheap to fix. The ignition, if it's a problem, will be more expensive to fix. Try a tune-up first, and if that doesn't do it then look into the ignition timing and the knock sensor. Good luck!

the shifting to the area must be via fact which you may prefer new shocks. even though it relatively is by technique of the fact it relatively is small and lightweight. I also have a chevy metro, with regards to a similar vehicle, and paved roads have ruts in them, made frequently by larger autos, and those automobiles dont fit in them. it form of makes them get pulled around alot, i understand what you advise

Crawl under it and hit the exhaust, muffler, tailpipe and exhaust system with your palm.
If you find the rattle, tighten what ever is loose.
