I've got a 00 Chev Monte Carlo with the 3.8L V6. Will not replacing the sensor cause further damage to other sensors or engine parts? Just dropped $500 on hail damage, don't want to replace right away.

I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY TRUCK WHEN I START IT AT FIRST IT RUNS FINE THEN AFTER A WHILE IT STARTS TO SPUTTER AND THEN DIES ON ME AND I THINK IT IS SOMETHING WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM AND I DONT KNOW WHAT PART OF THE FUEL SYSTEM SO IF YOU COULD ANSWER MY QUESTION I WOULD BE REALLY HAPPY THANK YOU.

I have a 1999 4.3L Chevy Blazer with 57,000 miles on it. Just recently I removed the radiator cap and what I saw was not good. There was tons of gunk in the opening and under the cap. Also, at the same time, red fluid is leaking from under the car. It looks like transmission fluid! First of all, does the radiator need to be flushed, and could this red liquid be from the transmission fluid leaking somewhere?

here is the situation. collision was a car v's scooter(moped) scooter is looking to change from middle to left lanes, scooter rider checks mirrors, performs lifesaver check to left side to confirm space, scooter rider looks foward to see a car in middle lane infornt of him brake and indicate to turn right, scooter has to perform evasive action to avioid colision resulting in scooter rider skiding out and departing bike over the handlebars with the bike hitting the car in front once rider has departed bike. now the twist in this scenario is .. the road in which the car was indicating to turn right on is a no right turn road. once police had arrived at scene it was confirmed that the driver of the car would be reported for this offence. the driver of the car has admited responsibilty to police and her insurance company. so does her insurance company have grounds for defence in the fact that any colision involving the rear or anyones veihcle, is the rear partys fault?

What advice could you give me on choosing my first car?

ive always wanted a
Hyundai Coupe or an MR2, but i wouldnt get the insurance for it..

so i may have to settle for a corsa 1.2 or astra 1.6

any suggestions?

My turbo went on my renault grand scenic 2 weeks ago. The car is only 2 years old. Apparently this is a common fault with the renauly Dci, but not well heard of, even though renault are well aware of it. Just in case it happens to you, ask about their OTS scheme. Renault will assist towards the cost of the turbo. Just thought I would warn other renault car owners! I got the cost of mine down from 3,500 euro to 1300 euro bec i did my homework! im looking to use a can spray to paint my bike any suggestions on where to get good paint and any tips (not air brush, Can like aerosols) and when i did this b4 the paint dulled alot and became really dirty and hard to clean and suggestion to help this not happen ty!

My car worked and ran fine when I came out of work. I drove about 20 miles with no problems and then went into grogery store. when I came out car=(explorer) will not start. and no air comes out of the vents even though i can hear the air is on but no air comes out of the vents. It cranks but will not turn over. yes I have gas in it. so I'm not sure. any help please, thanks

I have a friend that swears if you have two identical motorcycles the one that is carborated will outrun the one that is fuel injected. Is this true? Isn't it really about the amount of fuel that is sent into the engine not nessasarly the way it is sent

top n bottom hoses go rock hard,heater doesnt work when its about to play up, fan works,no oil in water,radiator clean, most believe air lock but cant seem to shift it.can go 50 miles or 2 miles befor it overheats......at my wits end, should i just torch it! lol

Can bad fuel cause a newer vehicle (2002) to show a check engine code for the Evap system? The reason I ask is after my husband and I both filled up our vehicles, we both got check engine lights (this is within 12 hours). Mine is just showing "engine knocking" and "fuel tank temp" errors, but my husband's is showing those two and also a P0445 and P1448 errors. Our mechanic is telling us that we have to replace the entire Evap system (over $600), but told us it isn't leaking, just full. Can't those things be cleaned out? This seems like too much of a coincidence for us to fill up at the same gas station within hours of each other and then for both vehicles to have the "check engine soon" light come on. Any ideas?

I have an auto. 90 Camaro RS, recently swapped the TPI 305 for a carb. 355(bored 30 over)(didn't have the $ for fuel injection). Lately I'll be driving along and out of nowhere my car will stall so I hit the gas a little more(nothing happens), seems to have no effect how much or little I hit the gas, sometimes it'll pull out of the stall and run like normal again and then other times it'll just die. When it does die sometimes it will start back up with no hesitation and other times it won't even try to turnover, so I wait 10-15 min and it starts right back up. What's the problem, and how do I fix it? Don't have $ to go to a mechanic. What I do know is my pcv valve is not hooked up, and the vacuum line that runs from the intake manifold to the back of the carb is not hooked up. My engine is loosing about 1 qt. of oil a week, but I think my heads just need to be retightend cause its such a new engine & looks like it may be leaking from the sides. Any answers are greatly appreciated.

I have a 1990 toyota celica gts and while crusing down the highway in 5th gear at about 75 mph the rpm's are at about 3500 and by time i hit 80 there about 4000. this seems really fast to me. my car runs perfect but when im on the highway it really feels like shes gonna blow!!!

So should I get a new tranny? What kind should I get? How much would that be? And instead of getting another stock 4-speed automatic, should I upgrade to like a 5-speed automatic or even a manual? And how much more would that cost?

Can anyone tell me where the High-Mounted Stoplight Relay is located on a 1992 Chevy Caprice? I have a new one to put in from AutoZone. They could not tell me where it is located..I tried Advance Auto and they could not tell me either. Stop light wont work but bulb is OK,the fuse is OK, the socket is OK and all other break lights work fine. Getting voltage to socket, then when bulb is installed, no voltage reading. I have also tried calling car dealerships but they have no idea either...oh and i have also checked repair manuals...they dont tell anything either....PLEASE SOMEONE...HELP ME!
