I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 that was running rough at one point then I corrected that, now I have this problem that if the car is cold it will run and run fine then as soon at it gets warm and I stop it will not restart. It will not restart until the next morning which means it takes along time for it to cool down. All things have been changed such as the basics, starter coil, plugs, caps etc. I am lost for what this maybe. I am in college and really need this car to run to go to work

It's a really nice car, from what I can see. No apparent damage except some cosmetic touch-up issue on the paint on the hood. The carfax report shows no problems. It was orginally bought in New York, then it was sold in Pennsylvania. 19 days later, it was auctioned off in Florida. I am now in Dallas TX. Here is a link to it:

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dda/detail.jsp?car_id=227543920&dealer_id=396745&car_year=2006&dealership_view_name=www.automerchantsinc.com&result_car_id=null&search_type=used&first_record=26&sort_type=make_modelASC&pager.offset=25&cardist=25

Even though the carfax report shows nothing wrong with it, carfax isn't always completely accurate. If I'm not a mechanic, would it be wise to find one to inspect the car before I buy it? If so, where can I find one and about how much would it cost?

My son has a 1996 pontiac sunfire. overheating blowing back water out of reservoir, water heater core has been flushed. All radiator hoses are new, new water pump, new thermostat radiator hoses new. Any ideas what
could be wrong? My son thinks it could be a blown head gasket, it is not blowing any white smoke... and I dont think its the head gasket.

I have a 2000 328i w/ sport package. I need new tires and was looking at some pretty aggressive directional tires (that's what was on it when I bought it, used) but then was told that european cars, esp. sport sedans, wear them pretty bad and especially on the inside edges(this is where mine are bad, but the shop that told me didn't know this), regardless of how on top of alignment and balancing you are. Any truth to this?

My oil warning light is coming on intermittently but not losing any oil. Is it likely the motor will sieze without other warning signs such as increased temp. When it initially came on I added 600ml oil, possibly too much it is now over the level. However the light came back on 30 kms down the road. If you stop and turn the car off, for as short as one minute it turns off for another 30- 60 kms. Yesterday I did 500kms with it like this(had no choice) and there were no other ill effects. Althought there is an intermittent tapping noise. I did get very good fuel consumption, and the light came on less at night. I am going to get the oil pressure tested today, its just I'm on the road and just want to get home (2000kms). The car is a subaro leone 89, its not a major catasrophe if it siezes it was only cheap, and I'm only using while my other car gets fixed, I don't want to throw lots of money at it

I have replaced the fuel filter, the throttle positioning sensor, cleaned the injectors, and also replaced the oxygen sensor. I dont know where to look next.

Usually It idles ok, but when you accelerate it hesitates before speeding up. When you get about 45 or 50 it runs pretty well, but between 30 and 45 its a little rough.

So I got this parking ticket in the mail for 48 bucks, but I was never aware of this, they said I was in the city of Oakland, CA but I have no reason to go to that city, I never do business or know anybody in that city, I have no proof other then my own word. Is it possible someone could be using the same license plate number? or possibly the same vin number? I'm curious about this situation. I contested it by email but no response yet, and on top of this where would my paper ticket be? normally they put it on your windshield right? Please help im curious to know what the heck is going on.

I have a civic LX...bought 4 brand new tires at Sams Club...Goodrich tires....and supposedly the guys balanced the tires....but when i drive, i feel like the tires almost "slip". My tires are aligned, they stay straight on the road...but i feel like the tires drift off to a side. I don't know if this makes sense, buit does this sound like a balancing issue or something else?

My 96 Dodge Caravan won't start. When you turn the key, everything electrical works - AC, windows, radio, etc. But it just clicks once, when you turn the key. It's not the battery - my husband too it to Auto Value, they tested it and said it was bad, so he bought a new one, but it doesn't make a difference.

We just got a new starter 2 years ago, so I don't *think* that's what's wrong, but then, I know next to nothing about cars.

Any suggestions on what may be wrong?

Well just for info, my brother and I are working on a '62 Bel Air.
As of now we are replacing full floor pans and such, but I have a few questions.
My first is about the interior.
I have looked for a few weeks, and I'm still unable to find a true reproduction of Bel Air door panels. (2 door sedan, specifically, color green)
I have found Impala door panels, but they are very different in design.
I would be greatful if someone could help me out on that.
Also, the car originally came with a straight 6 and an automatic transition.
My brother and I are planning on putting in a 5.7L 350 small block
with a 4 speed tranny.
Does anyone know if the modifications we have to do to the car are going to be too serious? i know that we'll have to chop a hole in the new floor and such, and shave the column shifter, but is it "safe" to change an automatic to a manual?
Don't get me wrong my brother knows what he's dealing with very well.
These questions are just for me, because I am very curious.

Thanks
