I have a 95 honda civic ex coupe with a D16Z6 motor.... I've been told by countless people that I should slap a turbo on it with a manual boost control and have it at like 4psi.... the car itself runs exelent the only thing is that it's an automatic (will deffinatly change tranny to stick in the future) and the fact that the car has around 200,000miles.... i bought it from my aunt and she babied the car like crazy so there is no engine damage what-so-ever.... I would just like to know if I WAS to put a turbo on.... what other mods or upgrades would I need to put on in order for my car to still run ok and not run the chance of ruining anything?

So about 7-10 years ago, my bf got a series of citations - not moving violations. He couldn't afford to pay the fines, didn't go to court and ended up getting multiple "indefinate suspensions". He now has the $$ to make good and on his driving records it says the amount to pay and to respond call or write to the townships. What does he need to do exactly??? It doesn't make sense to just send a check, and if he calls....WHAT DOES HE ASK FOR?
Any help would be appricated! Thanks!

When I drive to school there are dead stops! I like that bikes if its under 35 MPH can go between but its also more dangerous but...

Also I heard you get a whole lot better mileage! But maintaining the bike is worse than a car.

I was riding wheelies and I must of scraped the muffler on the pavement and ruined it by it dragging. I broke the seal of the pipe that runs from the middle of the bike to the back end where then it connects to the muffler. The welding appears to have cracked making the exhuats from the cat back to be loose from the connecting pipe. Its an after market exhaust that I wouldnt kinda want to save!!
Any cheap repair suggestions???

When E-brake drifting in an automatic car, do you pull the e-brake first, or turn the wheel first? Also, do you pull the e-brake up all the way, or just partially? Is it the same for manual?

When brake drifting in an automatic car, how many times do you have to brake, and at what points in the turn? Does the brake that initiates the drift have to be at the turn's clipping point?

When power drifting, do you let off the accelleration before or after you have turned at the turn's clipping point?

If I need to replace all four of my tires is it safe to buy one tire at a time. My plan is to buy one over the my next four pay periods or will it mess something up? Also if I need an alignment should I get that first?

I will be turning 18 soon and I was wondering if I need a permit if I apply after I turn 18 (CA)? If so how long do I have to have it before I can take the actual driving test?

On many movies I have watched concerning railway equipment, such as Atomic Train, when the airbrake hoses are severed, the train loses brakes, and becomes a runaway. That is impossible, for the Westinghouse Air Brake uses an air-reduction system, which safeguards against such a thing. If the airhoses should become severed or something else to cause a break, the air rushes out the brake lines, and the brakes go into emergency automatically, stopping the train. Although with the older "straight air" system, which has been out of use for decades, such a thing could cause a runaway. My question is, have any of you out there noticed any technical inaccuries in such films, besides the brakes?

We have a 1999 Dodge Caravan and the air conditioner takes about 20 minutes to start cooling and then it doesn't even get that cool. I read that you can put in your own freon but that you need some kind of kit and I haven't been able to find that. I am not paying some guy $80 to do it and not even fix the leak so I want to do it myself but I have no idea how. I don't know how or where to put the freon, surely it can't be that hard so if someone could tell me how that would be really nice. Thanks!!

Two times the bike has locked up going around corners at slow speeds (thankfully). This bike has only 650 miles on it so need some ammo when we take it to the dealer and hammer him.

He said that the car runs good. He also wants to sell me a 1990 Honda Civic for $1800? I do not know which one is a better deal. I do not have money to buy a brand new car! I just need something that is not a "gas hog" and if I need maintenance I can get the part. Please help me out.

Thanks!

The upper peninsula of Michigan has some very rough terrain, gravel roads, and a lot of snow/ice in the winter. What is the best car/truck to have in conditions like these? Anyone from UP, Alaska, cold climates please give advice-we think we might have to trade in our Ford Focus sedan before winter sets in!

I'm trying to get the chain off and it will NOT come. It is off of the rear sprocket and is loose, but it is stuck on the front sprocket. It wiggles a bit but no amount of prying or WD-40 has convinced it to come off. It's almost like the chain is welded to the sprocket. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I have a 2001 accent and I keep up with the maintnance to it. 2 days ago I added some oil and today was the first time I drove on the highway at 60mph. The car shook a little and I noticed some smoke coming out. I let off the excelorater and it went away. It did this one more time and then I got off the highway. At slower speeds it doesn't seem to be happening. Could this just be that I spilled some oil on the engine or is this a bigger problem??!!

all a little different, but most the same size are similar. This crazy boat seems to glide sideways TOOOOOO much. It doesn't seem to steer correctly. Motor turns easily and freely, it just doesn't seem to respond like normal boats do.
