ok so i have a pontiac firebird and the key to the ignition has a chip on it. well i lost this key the other day. i have a spair but i just found out that the chip on that one dont work it turns on the radio and all but the engine wont turn on. does anybody know how much it will cost to get a spair for my car. i have a spair key so they wont have to mold it they just gotta figure out the chip code i guess anybody gotta any price ranges

I was on a website that defines slang. I searched up dodge, and people were defining dodge cars saying it's grandpa technology. it drips oil, and that it breaks down after 50,000 miles.

My car has been making a weird noise, and it seems like its coming from the engine. While I drive, something goes "pcht!" randomly...and I've noticed my car is losing its potency. It feels different when I drive it now, and when I accelerate...it takes long for it to acquire speed. The sound resembles what you hear when you put air in your tires, and it only lasts about half a second each time...What could be the problem and what could be done? (The sound also seems to be coming from the front right side of the car, if you're sitting in the driver's seat)

I want to tune my car to 300hp or so and want to do it with as little money as possible. i dont want the ka24 because i herd the block cant handle more than 350hp. I want to keep the hp cap high just in case i change my mind in the future

It stopped around 128000 and hasn't moved since then. I took the cluster off and looked, everyone looked ok but I don't know a lot about odometers. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I don't want to buy a new one.

My buddy just got a 2001 Mustang Cobra. I love it and I want one. Right now I have a 2006 G35 but really want to trade it in for a G37. Which is faster, the Cobra or the G37? I know that a G37 have 330 hp comparing to a Cobra that have 320hp. But the Cobra have a 4.6 L V8 engine while the G37 have a 3.7 V6. So which is faster?

A while back, I replaced the headlight motor on my '88 firebird. After I did that, the radio, dome light, horn, door locks, and hatch lock stopped working. the door locks still work with the button on the alarm remote but not from inside the, but the rear hatch will not open without using the key (there is a button inside the car as well as on the remote).
when I replaced the headlight motor, I was an a$shole and forgot to disconnect the battery. when I pulled the top part of the motor out, the rod that spins the gears on the bottom touched the side of the motor case. It made a spark. Now, as I explained above, stuff stopped working on the car. I'm only looking into this now as I've been replacing a leaking head gasket so I put the electrical problem on the backburner. Any info would help as I don't know a whole lot about electrical systems.
