My buddy just got a 2001 Mustang Cobra. I love it and I want one. Right now I have a 2006 G35 but really want to trade it in for a G37. Which is faster, the Cobra or the G37? I know that a G37 have 330 hp comparing to a Cobra that have 320hp. But the Cobra have a 4.6 L V8 engine while the G37 have a 3.7 V6. So which is faster?

Thanks everyone in advance for your help.

It would have a lot to do with who is behind the wheel.

its a tough question that can only be decided by racing the cars, but to my understanding the g series is a rather heavy car so you may acualy want to look at power/weight ratios.
If you were to drag them in a strait line i think this would happen (assuming you both have manual trannys)
the cobra will beat you off the line because of its supierior torque, the rest would all rest on who shifts the best. Also all mustangs have solid rear axles to witch helps them win drag races, the cobra doesn't because the cobra was desined with circut racing in mind.

gtr? dont you think thats suposed to be nissans equivilent to the viper/ corvette? What im saying is its going to cost Alot!

The one who has more lbs of torque but the cobra has a v-8 so it is faster but you could look 4 a turbo 4 G37 or get a viper.

Keep the G-35 untill you can afford a Skyline GTR due out in 2009.
