In ten years, so 2017, how do you see automobiles?
Design- what will they look like
Engines- how will they be powered
This is not mearly a question that has a definite answer, yet has multiple answers to what you all think.

If they still run on gasoline, they'll all be hybrids, but have an air-reserve tank instead of batteries, and they'll have multiple engines that all run at peak efficiency instead of one big engine that struggles to run at all speeds.
As far as styling goes, it's obvious to anyone that there aren't any truly inspired styles coming out of any of the companies.
I think we're going to see all the classic styles of yesteryear being made available with all state of the art mechanicals under the skin.
If the PTBs stop putting the quash on water technology, we'll all be driving big luxury cars because we won't be paying high prices for power (fuel) anymore and we'll all be able to afford bigger better cars.

GM announced bankruptcy today the plug in electric cars did not sell enough units. USA government officials are taking possession of GM assets. The World Motor Company China purchased the ailing Toyota motor corp. Average temperature rise was much greater than expected. Polar ice caps have melted. Gulf property mangers have started selling sea side Austin Texas Shore Estates. Fuel Cell manufactures divert manufacturing to home power systems. Coal power plants are outlawed. Electrosteam has anounced a new propulsion system using solar panels light reflectors to produce steam and electric powered automobile.

i don't think we,ll see as many running on gas as we see now,i think by then we,ll have come up with a good alternative fuel,that willl be cleaner and renewable also,were either going to have to do that or be paying around 5-7 bucks a gallon for it,and not many people could afford that,but they will be different,in what way ,we all will have to wait and see,but i think it wil be very interesting,good luck,hope this helps.

designed for air flow ,better mileage and with fuel alturnitives.will be shorter , lower and smaller
