there has been many many many rumors going around saying that you cant get your liscense until youre 17 and your temps at 16 1/2...is this true? if it is not, what is the age you can get your temps?

The basic rules of Temps at 15 and 1/2
Probationary license until 18 are still in effect.
Some new restrictions on the Temps and Prob license were added see link for the details.

There was a bill proposed yesterday that would move the temps. back to 16 and your license at 16 1/2. Nothing is official yet though.

I live in Ohio & the age of getting you're temps is 151/2...Unless the law has change in the past 4-5 days which I don't think it has...So good luck~

Kids can get their permit in Ohio at age 15 1/2 and drivers license at 16.

Yes it's true but i think you have the ages wrong, temps at 17 1/2 and license at 18.

I just got my temps two months ago and im 15-1/2 so they didnt change anything yet

I used to live in holy Toledo and then moved to California, Here they don't accept drivers licenses from other states
try move to California, you will definitely have more fun and progress in life, having said that, it really ain't matter what is the legal age for getting a drivers licensee in Ohio, understood ?

u can get ur temps at 15 and 6 months and license at 16, and u can start driving classes at 15 and 5 months, believe me i just did it!

I live in Ohio and I haven't heard this...I got my temps at 15 1/2 and my license at 16....

Yep, it's true. My cousin in Ohio just turned 16 and was pissed that they changed it. Pretty sure you can get your temps at 16, but dunno for certain since I live in Michigan :P
