Do they wash it and seal it in another bag?

On Allegiant Alirlines you have to PAY $15.00 for a blanket...you do get to keep it though...

Yes some airlines do. Sometimes you'll see a hair that didn't wash out. Some airlines just shake them out, and refold them for the next passenger. If get a blanket that's not sealed in a bag it was probably previously used.

I'm a airline mechanic and work on the planes while the cleaners are replacing or refolding the blankets.

sometimes i think they just fold it up again and use it all over again without washing it coz sometimes they're not sealed in a bag when they give it to you but when you're freezing in the plane what can you do?
