I bought a key less entry remote to program for my car but the instructions that came with it are not working. Is says to turn the car ignition on 8 times within 10 seconds and the doors should unlock/lock then it's ready to program but this never happens. Any Ideas or anything specific? And don't say take it to a dealer cause they wanna charge 50bucks ;)

It would be used to test pilots. I am looking for a simple game, software or any program that will test this. I've heard of a test where you are supposed to fly (guide) a cursor or box along a line that changes direction.

I live in Tempe AZ ... warm year round rains about 4 days a year. I am thinking about buying a motorcycle to drive everyday. I will also have a cheap beater car ... not the most reliable but can be used if i cant drive my bike. Wanted to know from someone who drives a bike as their main transportation how it is. do you get tired of always riding a bike ? Does it get unbearable with the summer heat. Would you rather have a car as a daily driver ?

Does anybody have any pictures of this aircraft? Apparently it is a Champ with two wing-mounted C90s.

I bought 2002 Ford Escape w/ 35K miles w/ 1more year on warranty(bought in 2004) The engine light was on and it ran a little funny. In the Fall of 2004 we went to have the light and engine checked out. Ford service dept. says"it's just wiring" They did some work on it and said that we would need a new o2 sensor soon. Middle of 2006 it starts to run worse than it had been -same problem worse. fixed o2 sensor- since then(january 07) it's been in the shop 5 times for the same problem that was going on in 2004 only progressively worse. (engine sputtering and occasionally dying w/ little acceleration) and BAD gas mileage. I reamed the service department this last time because I'm fed up. They ran all the tests and came back saying the car history (from the beginning) shows that the car has only been running on 2 cylinders(it's a 4) I need some help. Is ford going to replace my car? Can it be fixed? ANyone have the same thing happen?

Someone totaled my car in a 3-car accident a few weeks ago. The person-at-fault's insurance company refuses to pay for my rental car and is dragging their feet on providing the necessary paperwork so that I can go forward with my gap insurance company and the auto financing company. The other two drivers have the same insurance company. I think they're trying to force me to file it as a collision claim with my insurance, but then I'm out my deductible. This doesn't seem right to me. Any opinions? Anybody experienced this before?

This happened in Texas. I can give more details if someone thinks they can give me some advice.

So, I am a teenage driver. I accidently, while getting out of the garage, left my car in drive. I ran into (not going terribly fast) a stack of four plastic organizer boxes and my sister's electric scooter handlebar. My car was fine, no dents at all in my plastic bumper. The plastic shelves seemed to be fine, they had only a minor dent.

So, I look behind the plastic shelves. There's a large hole/dent in the wall. However, it isn't shaped right. It's an odd, circular, no square shape.

Is it possible my car did that? The metal handlebar merely left a small bruise on the wall (nothing at all). The organizers were fine. The hole was not in the right shape for the organizers.

Did I make that hole?

Is it cheaper? Also, can independant garages do a good job on your BMW just as if you were at the dealer? what are the price differences? Is the results just as good as the dealer, or are you putting your car in jeopardy?

I will be inheriting a 1977 harley sportster from my uncle who passed. I have never owned a harley as I have only owned sports bikes, and I am having trouble finding information on this bike. Anyone know of good websites with info and parts for this bike. I would like to replace certain pieces that have rust and what not on them. Any info on this bike would be helpful
Thanks

I am 23 and just getting into sport bikes... I have been looking around and talking to people about a good starter bike while looking at gear. I have had about 50-50 results regarding where I should start. I'm a big guy and I have people tell me I might as well go ahead and get something 600cc if that's eventually where I'm going to go (which it is)... whereas others have told me I should start with the 492cc Buell Blast or something similar since that's what they use in the MSF course in town (which I will definitely be taking). The people who have said just go with a 600cc used CBR or something similar because after about a month on the Blast I'll wanna get something bigger real quick... keep in mind I have never ridden a motorcycle in my life :-P What do you suggest? Thanks!

Will the wiring harness be the same regardless of the level of audio system that came with the car?

One factory option comes with 6 speakers, another comes with 12 speakers, including a sub. If I get the base option, will the wiring already be there for all 12 possible speakers, or will I have to run wire if I want to add speakers/components.

This is for a 2007 Toyota Tundra. I know there aren't many around yet, but what would you expect? (especially if you are a professional installer)

Bought a used '02 Nissan Altima SL from a Ford dealer. Clearly the dealer didn't know that it had an automatic start.

I was fooling around with the control and got it to start but I don't know exactly how.

The keyless remote appears to be the stock Altima remote and has the follow buttons:

1. Door Lock
2. Door Unlock
3. Trunk unlock
4. Panic

(This is the model - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-2003-2004-2005-NISSAN-ALTIMA-KEYLESS-REMOTE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33723QQihZ019QQitemZ290129579797QQrdZ1)

Holding buttons 1+2 together appears to toggle the car between silent and non-silent (horn beeps) locking of the car.

However, I have no clue how to automatic start the car. I've tried holding all different combinations of buttons but nothing.

Any ideas?

do the gas siphon pump and hoses that you buy at the store realy work?i want to pump out 2 gallons of gas from my 2000 ford wind star so i can put it in my riding mower and atv.every time i run out of gas i have to go to the gas station 20 miles away, i would like to just pump the gas out of my van and into my mower and atv.if i remove the gas filter i will just drain all the gas out of the van.i only need 2 gallons not 5 to 25 gallons of gas?what about putting a clear 5 foot hose in the gas tank to suck out the gas?will that work?on a 2000 ford wind star?

I own a 1995 Honda Accord at 24o,ooo m. I bought it used (4 yr ago 13o,ooo m) and replaced the wtr pump and tim belt a year ago. Periodically it would run hot and need water in the rad which resolved the problem immediately and for nearly a year. Yet, a few months ago I noticed a hairline crack on the top of the rad which leaked slightly. Ive kept adding 50/50 to it to keep the fluid levels up and keep the engine cool too. Now, it doesnt leak but the reserve tank bubbles and the fan has stopped coming on. As long as I keep fluid in it, it stays about 5-10mm below the midway point and doesnt overheat unless I am sitting still in traffic and turning on the heater makes it go back down. My BF thinks it might be the thermostat and I suspect the fan just couldnt keep up with the leaking radiator and the motor or fuse blew? It already burns oil so we have to keep that checked weekly. Should we just shoot it and put it out of its misery? PLEASE HELP it live another year THANK YOU!
