for $3500. She wants us to make the bill of sale for $1000 and then give a $2500 gift so she can avoid some excise tax. Isn't this illegal?

Would appreciate some info on this.

My radiator leaks out my coolant. I want to get another radiator before I finish tearing everything down. I just don't know if the radiator has an oil cooler or not. The place where I'm getting the radiator from asked if I needed the radiator with oil cooler or one without. Thanks for any help.

If you don't like to wear a motorcyle helmet, consider the following article from the Journal Of American Medical Assn. Now, do you still think helmet laws are bad?
Southern California Injury Prevention Research Center School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles 90024-1772.

OBJECTIVE--To determine the effects of the California motorcycle helmet use law on statewide fatalities and a large sample of nonfatal injuries before and after law implementation. DESIGN--Police reports and death certificates were collected for motorcycle crash fatalities in California for 1991 (prelaw) and 1992 (postlaw). Official counts of registered motorcycles provided a statewide basis for exposure to a motorcycle crash. Autopsy results were collected for fatalities in 11 counties. Hospital records were reviewed for nonfatal injuries in 28 hospitals in 10 of the 11 counties. Police reports were linked to injury data for the riders. SUBJECTS AND PATIENTS--A total of 850 fatalities and injury data for 547 fatally injured riders and 3252 nonfatally injured patients. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES--Changes in number and rates among statewide fatalities were estimated. The number and pattern of head injuries in fatally and nonfatally injured motorcycle riders were evaluated. RESULTS--After implementation of the helmet use law, statewide motorcycle crash fatalities decreased by 37.5%, from 523 fatalities in 1991 to 327 in 1992, more than 37%, and an estimated 92 to 122 fatalities were prevented. Motorcycle fatality rates were reduced by 26.5%, from 70.1 per 100,000 registered motorcycles in 1991 to 51.5 per 100,000 in 1992. Head injuries decreased significantly among both fatally and nonfatally injured motorcyclists. CONCLUSION--Enactment of an unrestricted helmet law significantly reduces the incidence of motorcycle crash fatalities and the number and severity of head injuries.

Is it OK for a woman or man, to be with someone
they love so much. Even if they are being abused
physically, and emotionally. Even if they think that
they can help this person, who is almost a lost
cause. Meaning if this person is beyond repair....

I have a 1978 KZ650C with the dual front discs. The previous owner put a Honda(?) master cylinder on it made for a single front disc. As a result, the front brakes are very soft. I have found several used master cylinders for dual front discs out there (mostly Harley) and I am wondering if they will work with this bike. Thanks

My car, for the last 6 months, has been sluggish while going uphill(any incline at all), pushing 3,000 RPMs just to get past 28 MPH. It is pretty much okay on a flat surface. The Service Engine Light has been on as well. I replaced the spark plugs and wires. What else could it be?

Please help! Whenever I brake there is a terrible rolling sound coming from the back tires/area of my 2001 Grand Prix. It is definately not the brake pads since I just had all four of them replaced by a mechanic who told me that was the problem. Well apparently it was not. Besides, it's not a squealing sound at all. It's really a rolling, almost pumping sound and feeling that only happens when I brake. It almost feels like if I brake too hard something is going to snap. Does anyone know what this could be?

when im bored and have nothing to do I goto car dealerships and look at all the car selections. Sometimes I goto Porsche and Mercedes dealers and bentley and lambo dealers. Sometimes the guys there will let me ride with them on there daily maintenance runs.

But how would I go about telling someone at a Honda/Acura dealer that I just want to test drive one and have no interest in buying? Will they let me test drive one if I have no interest in buying? Afterall it wastes there time and money.

My car has recently started to make a squealing noise when I am driving. It also makes a sound when I am in reverse. When I step on the brake it stops. I looked at other answers and some people said belts and others said brakes. I need a straight answer so that I dont break the bank trying to figure out what it is. I know that the brakes usually make that sound when the brake pads need to be replaced and it is 'metal on metal', but like I said, it only makes the sound if I am stepping on the gas. I really need to figure it out, its loud and very annoying! I want people to look at my car because of the bass coming from it, not the squealing!!
