the bike is a kawasaki, i belive it's 500cc's or under it's a touring/naked style bike. I just don't know the type/name of the bike! all i know is that there is a sticker on the tank above the "kawasaki" logo that says redline and has a tachometer on it. it was also made around the late 80s or early 90's any information would be greatly appreciated

I think you've got a Kawasaki Zephyr. They also made a 750 Zephyr. The 500 is very quick. !990 was the first year and 1992 was the last. I owned one. Ford Motor Company sued Kawasaki for using the Zephyr name owned by Ford and first used as a Lincoln And later on the little Mercury. Back then it was called a standard, now they would be naked. The stock colors were red & blue.

If it's an old 80's bike it might be a CSR - I had a CSR650 that was bad-azz - it looked like a normal motorcycle but could easily keep up with sport bikes.

I made my friend sad one day when he first got his new ninja zx-6, and I passed him on the interstate going 150 (with my throttle locked on - and my hands out to the sides).

Call Kawasaki, tell them the vin # (located on the very front of the frame behind the forks) and they'll tell you the year and model of the bike.
(949) 460-5688
Then go here to get details of the bike -

Don't know much about those, but please be careful.
My brother was riding his Harley and a dog ran out in front of him in the dark, and was thrown 60ft, and landed on a curb with his hip. He was one block away from home.
He now has three pins to hold it and had to have two surgery's because the first time the pins came out and came through the skin.

I just think they are way too dangerous. Drivers on the road do NOT respect motorcycle riders. They never look out for them.
