when im bored and have nothing to do I goto car dealerships and look at all the car selections. Sometimes I goto Porsche and Mercedes dealers and bentley and lambo dealers. Sometimes the guys there will let me ride with them on there daily maintenance runs.

But how would I go about telling someone at a Honda/Acura dealer that I just want to test drive one and have no interest in buying? Will they let me test drive one if I have no interest in buying? Afterall it wastes there time and money.

why not start a blog about the cars you test? as you attract readers, you'll also attract paying advertisers and even car manufacturers who will 'lend' you a new model to drive.

this 70-something year old guy did this with golf club testing and now all the golf club manufacturers send him clubs.

Those guys are trying to make a living, don't mess with them. Get a hobby or something. Wasting their time is like stealing from them. You're taking their time and the chance to make some money. Buy a slot car track and you can test drive all day long. lol

They should let you test drive even if you express no interest in buying cars. Afterall, it is their job to change your mind and make you want to buy the car.

Do you like it when someone wastes your time & money in whatever business you're in?

You could always lie and act like you are interested.
