I just noticed that my car battery was making a sort of "gurgling" noise after I shut off my car. It may have always been that way or it may have just started, I'm not sure. I noticed it while checking a fuse located right next to the battery, so maybe I just had never been close enough to notice before.

I have a 1995 Ford escort LX and its a four door, four cylinder with pw, pl and the AC works and is cold. It has 132,000 miles on it, and it has a minor muffler problem, could be fixed easily. How much do you think that my car would be worth?

Chevy has had a full size (1500) a mid size (colorado) and a small truck (S-10) Dodge has had the full size (Ram) mid-size (Dakota) and small (D-50) but Ford has never offered a mid-size truck, why?

i have a Yamaha vstar 1100 and its better than a harley. its less to maintain compare to harley costing hundreds of $$$$$$ just to have a oil change. paying that much for a harley oil change is ridicous.. dont get me wrong harley owners, theyre great looking bikes. how come harley have not come out with a shaft driven?
i ride with all types of motorcycles and good friends...

Turned the car on yesterday and NONE of the windows will roll down. The drivers window button buzzes when you press it but that's it. The other three buttons on the same door do nothing. NONE of the window buttons on any door do anything. Power locks still work, everything else still works. Windows will not roll down. Any ideas?

I just recently replaced a fuel pump and a starter solenoid on a 1995 Lincoln Continental. I have good fuel pressure but I can't get it to start again. It has an anti-theft system which may have something to do with why it's not starting. I'd like to know what to do next. I don't have a manual and I can't seem to find the manual either. Is there an electronic "reset" procedure to clear the car's brain and perhaps get it started?

I've got a black materialled hood and I haven't put any sort of weathering protector on it, it now has stains on it from the weather. I've tried scrubbing them off with fairy liquid and water but can't get rid of them.
Any ideas?

Yep, I've killed my battery by leaving ignition on for about 5 mins without engine running (does that sound right? the owner i have JUST boguht it off says it's a new battery..)

So now I'm trying to access the battery behind the tank, but it needs to be in 'maintenence mode' which is something to do with the immobiliser key's buttons, but i'm not quite sure how to do it.. any hhelp very appreciated! thanks,

I was driving down a slightly busy road in town Thursday. We were at a stop light, light turns green, everyone drives forward, was about 20 feet behind the car in front of me. I look down for a split second, look up and the car in front of me had slammed on their brakes. I was driving an SUV, she a sedan. I slammed on the brakes, but tapped her rear-bumper at around 5 mph. We both pulled to the side of the road, and got out of our cars. Surveying the damage, her car appeared to have none, and mine had a dent on the front bumper. We decided the police did not need to be involved, and just exchanged phone numbers. On Saturday, she called me and said her trunk did not close properly, it was my fault. I told her to go get an estimate and we could probably work something out. She did on Monday and said $4000. She says that the passenger door doesn't open properly and there is all sorts of other damages. What should I do? Any experience out there in these matters? Thanks

I land at gatwick midnight and i need to get to hadleigh in essex as quickly as possible. im travelling alone and the only options ive got are...
a) waiting till 1.30 that afternoon to get a coach
b) getting a train at 3.30 am travelling through london and the underground late at night alone and not arriving till 6.20 because there are two change overs...
If anyone knows of any other options ive missed can you let me know
