I'd say to check out a 250 - they're some of the lightest bikes out there, and fun to ride. Particularly on winding roads. Every Japanese manufacturer has at least one, so check them all out and find one that fits you. If you're willing to try something heavier, you might want to go as high as 500, but 600 cc sport bikes with 100 hp are not the best choice as first bikes.
Also, check out the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) class or other professional lessons. They're very helpful for beginners. You may even like the bike you ride there so much you decide to get one just like it, if your main goal is something light and fun rather than brute power.

A girl can ride any bike she feels comfortable with. Given your question I will assume you are just starting. I would reccomend starting with a MSF riders course. You will be able to learn the fundamentals of riding as well of street survival while using their motorcycles.
After the MSF course, good bikes that will get you started would be Kawasaki Ninja 500, Ninja 650, Suzuki SV650, GS500F would be a good start. Harley's tend to be heavy and awkard on slow speed handeling, after 6 months to a year of riding, you won't have much of a problem with them.

If you know the technique, its possible for you to lift a 900 lb Honda Gold Wing.
Look at Honda 360.

a girl weighin 110 pounds can easily lift a gold wing with the right technique; there's a right way and a wrong way for everything.
if u want cheap, and u didnt say just how cheap; if u want dirt cheap, u'll need to look at a 15-20 yr old 'beater'. if u plan on going on interstates, u'll need at the very least, a 750cc's to keep up.

A small used Jap bike would do you. Look for a 250-350cc Honda. Don't get a dirt bike style for street use! You'll get great mileage with plenty of power for you! Best to you. ;-)=

Depends on what type of girl you are. Just see the design if you like go for it. Don't ask others for opinions. You will get used to it sooner. When there is will, there is also a bill.
