I plan on putting two 300 watt RMS subs in a car. I am going to wire the subs in parallel to a one channel amp. Should I buy a 300 watt RMS one channel amp or a 600 watt RMS one channel amp for my subs?

How soon does anyone think the gas prices will come down. and i mean down to a resonable price that people can afford to live comfortably again. this is taking a tole on alot of people and it is down right killing us financially. so many people i know cnat hardly afford to take there kids on outings on the weekends cause they have to save the gas they have for the week days for work. this is so sad.

I understand basically that lifting it with a crank or hydraulic lift (usually equipped with most vehicles) is enough for changing a flat tire, but if I need to slide up under it,.....what's the SAFEST method for getting underneath to do minor work on suspension? Need some advice here before I go and hurt myself. Thanks....

A couple of weeks ago the water pump on my g/fs Audi T/T went out. She took it to a local mechanic who specializes in German autos. When he first assesed the problem he said it would cost no more than $800. 2 weeks later she still hasn't gotten her car back and when she called him he said it would now cost $1750 because the water pump had blown up and he had to fish the parts out of the engine. This sounds like a load of BS to me. Is she getting scammed and if so what are the steps we can take to counter it?

Hi all,
How many RCA pre-amp outputs in an mp3/cd tuner are required to connect a system consisting of 2 pairs of speakers, an amplifier and a subwoofer enclosure? (If my amp has 4 channels)

As in, do i connect speakers and subs to the amp and then connect amp to the headunit or can i connect a pair of speakers and a sub to amplifier and then connect other pair + the amp itself to the headunit???

that one of these Locomotives is not restored?
Before you bleat on about cost don't tell me you can't afford it, it's just a matter of will, are you really so careless about your industrial heritage that you can't overcome the obstacles preventing this?

I just bought a COBRA 29 WXNWST CB radio and installed it in my jeep using exactly 21 feet of coax cable. How long of a firestic should i buy? I thought about a 4 foot Turnable Tip
FireStik II. But i would prefer a 3 foot (so I can fit my jeep in the garage). My concern is that when i bought the coax cable they said i had to buy in increments of 3 feet... so should my antenna be 3 feet? please help thanks

Eastern Panhandle is making WV Route 9 wider. Making it a 4 lane highway from Berkeley Springs, WV to the VA boarder. Since Northern VA will not approve the road, there will be a bottle neck once you get to VA.

Route 9 has been the subject of considerable debate. West Virginia is constructing a four-lane expressway by-pass of the current Route 9 - a winding two-lane rural road - to U.S. Route 340 in Charles Town. The expressway will end at Route 9 at the Virginia state line [1]. Upgrading Route 9 in Loudoun County is opposed by local groups that want to preserve the rural feel of Western Loudoun by limiting traffic and thereby also limiting growth.

Limiting traffic, it is more like control. Because the traffic is there. the road is maybe 20miles long on the VA side, which should take about 20mins. But in the mornings it could take about an hour on that road.

Everyone wants to live in WV due to cheaper living and they work in VA due to higher paying jobs.

Son built an early auto with down draft carb. but it didn't catch on
I was told. I was also told by an older man, there was one in Reidsville, NC owned by a minister. The man told me he had worked on the carburator. I don't know who either owner or man who I talked to was. It was in the year 2003 I think.
