the car has been sitting for a long time now, and the windows are not going down, everything else in the car works great, except for th windows, now it isnt locked because the light wont even come on, someone said it may be the master control switch or i may need some new window regulaters, can someone help please?!!!!!!!!!!

Check the fuse or circuit breaker for the windows first--if ok, then check for power at the master switch and a good ground. It would be very rare that all the power window regulators or motors go bad at once...I'm thinking you're not getting power to the switch or a bad master switch or bad ground....could also be a bad relay if there's one in the circuit.And on some cars, the wiring harness from the driver's door to the body can get brittle over time and you'll get a broken wire or wires....could be a possibility also.

check the connections on the window switches and also where it plugs up to the window motors,they could be corrorded,also once you get them working,spray some silicone grease on the connections,to keep them from doing it again.did you say you checked the fuses?
