I need sponsors and anyone I call ie. goodyear, budweiser, elelbrock,... and so on.... they all act like I am not good enough for them... I have been very profesional on the phone and email. I have over 5 years exp driving other peoples cars... now I try it on my own and I get a cold shoulder?

BAJA!
You need to get your name out there 1st, and win some races. Try Yokohama. A lot of "sponsors" will give contingency if you buy and run their products along with their sticker and WIN. What class car and what district?
Good luck

Go for smaller sponsors who have a more personal connection with you, including the guys who sponsored those cars you drove for five years. "Hi, I'm Joe Blow and I won 3 races last year in the car you helped sponsor for Sam's Wreckers and I am going out on my own and looking for sponsors"

Well maybe you should stop talking and show them what you can do on the road. Sponsors dont sponsor you for TALKING they sponsor you for RACING. Or maybe that buggy will just be blown away? i bet it would LOL.
