I purchased a set of 6 3/4" Alpine speakers (4 ohm)for my front doors. Low and behold the tweeters weren't providing enough "tweet" to satisfy. So I purchased a set of Alpine Tweeters (also 4 ohm) to add the front channels. It seems there is noway to just wire it anyway because either scheme would end up in an 8 or 2 ohm load. Please help!!!

Thank you in advance!!

I saw some threads and articles that people are removing spare tire and jack out of their trunk to lessen the weigh of their car in order to save gas. Is this worth it ? Do you recommend ?

I was involved in a 3 car pileup on the freeway. I was in the middle. The person who hit me has no insurance. The damage to my car was $1300. The damage to the car in front was $1400.

Now, the person who I hit (the car in front) says shes going to report it to my insurance, but since it wasn't my fault, what will my insurance company most likely do? I have all of the information from the guy behind who caused the accident, but since he is uninsured, will my insurance have to pay for the car in front? Thanks for any advice.

Myself and the car in front were at a complete stop, i even seen him coming in my rear view....I tried moving to the right (onto the shoulder) to avoid him hitting me from me behind but didn't quite make it.

I reside in CA, with liability insurance.

I hate replacing parts that are not bad. I pulled the EGR valve and it looks fairly clean. no heavy carbon. I also responds to a voltage input and produces an output. So at least it isn't fully stuck. But I keep getting a P0172 and I think a P0170 trouble code and the traction control lights with the check light. Indication bank too right. Is there any way to be certain that it is the EGR without trial and error?????????

thx

I really want to buy one but the thing is I don't see to many of them around, I was just wondering if it was in limited production or if it was stopped because of some issues.

If it was not a limited production vehicle, how come there are so little of them around?

Here is my problem. The dealer is in Ohio and has 100% positive feedback. I also bought my mom's car from them 9 months later. Anyway I pulled the carfax on the car before I bought it and discovered it had been in 2 wrecks. Nothing on the carfax said anything about major damage. The dealer claimed the car had been fixed and was in great condition. I also used CarChex to drive the car and inspect it. The CarChex report came back that the car was in great condition. I bought it and have had it for 11 months. I was going to sell it for something newer so I took it to Carmax to get appraised. WOW, this is the problem. They put it on a rack and noticed the frame had major damage and had been repaired. They also ran a AutoCheck report on it and it stated it was sold as a frame damaged car at the auto auction the dealer bought it from. Lemon Law on covers new cars so does anyone have any advice that want break me? Frame Damage was not disclosed but I have proof they knew!

I had the O2 sensor replaced in my car today and the mechanic ran across a bare wire in one of the wiring harnesses. He said blew a fuse link on the starter. He fixed it, the car started and made it home, etc. My boyfriend went to replace the spark plugs and wires when he got home and only replaced 3 of the 6 since he couldn't get to the 3 on the far side of the engine. We took the car for a ride, it died before we got back home. We got a jump and within a mile, it died. We let it charge and barely made it home. What could be the causes of my car not starting? I recall with another vehicle of mine, when it needed a tune up, it did almost the similar thing. Our mechanic said he would look at it tomorrow to make sure he didn't pop any other fuses, but I am worried he screwed up the alternator or starter. The battery is only about a year or so old and was fine until today.

It was a salvaged car but the frame was good. I was going to use it for parts to fix my son's car that he wrecked, but it ended up being easier to make the salvage car new again. Now I am hearing I can't get a title. The car is awesome.

I am buying a 1992 Camaro 25th addition. It is in mint condition. It came from florida so the red car is now pink. It has lost all its color. But that is ok my brother paints cars. Its going back to red but not to bright. The problem i am having is that i am putting racing stripes down the center of it and i can't decide if i would rather have white or black. i am scared that the white might be to much. I need opinions please. Can't wait i love being a car girl......

ok we got in to a reck from behind, after everything the tow truck guy told us to get our stuff becuase he was going to tow the car. i told him my stuff was in the treunk, where the other car was connected to us from the impact. he said to wait untill he seperates the cars, he started to put my car up on his ramp about half way. the car the wrecked us was about 4 feet behind. he told me to get my stuff but i asked him for help, when he leaned on the car the chain came loose and pinned only me in between both cars, now my legs are damaged but didnt break, suffering severe swelling, numbness, bruses, and having hard time walking, sitting, sleeping. so what do you think i should do? i want to Sew the tow truck company but do you think i have a good case? if yes how much do you think i could get? any help please.
