The reason there are no seat belts on buses is because the seat in front of them is tall enough to stop them from flying forward. Although this is not the safest thing, the school transportation has begun putting seat belts in new buses.

They want the kids or bus passengers to be able to exit quickly if necessary and the accident rate is much lower for these vehicles than a car or truck so they get a waiver. Chances are that people will think twice about driving erratically around a bus...or semi for that matter and as long as the driver is qualified, they should be a lot safer than a normal vehicle.

That question has been poured over and over.
The main reason is that I think a buss has a lot more metal protecting you and you are not driving.
I dont think you could get a kid in a seat belt on say a school bus anyway.
But I am with you. I think that you should be able to do what you want in your car. I dont think that dxriving drunk or smoking dop in your car is ok but I say if I dont want to wear my seat belt it should be my choose.

The specialists additionally agree that throughout a deadly crash, many infants would panic and not get out of the seatbelts in case of a fireplace. easily, there are few extreme bus crashes. They do happen, of course, yet in comparison to motor vehicle crashes. the way the infants act on those buses, that is small ask your self the driving force can get them everywhere properly.

My sister drives her kids to school each day for that very reason! Also, some little ones are small enough in weight that they should still be in booster seats....and they don't have those in buses either!
